After what seems like a very long winter we are back. We are delighted to have the studios back to full capacity and will be posting updates and features on who’s who in the next few weeks.
The major news is that as part of the Tresorys project we have secured funding through the UK Community Renewal Fund. These funds are to pilot our long planned residency programme.
With RESIDENT we are launching what we hope to become a permanent ongoing series of residencies for creative practitioners from the SW and beyond.
Full details can be found here: https://unit3.org.uk/resident/
We have also been working with other local groups to launch GLAM a new venture which aims to become a one stop shop for creatives from all disciplines in the area. More details soon…
As part of the launch we held two creative AR treasure hunts with local children in which we took over the Churchyard and went on expedition for the mythical Narwhal horn of CAp’n Bones!
The bigger than that news is that our very own Antonia Eden and Sam Lawrence also used the GLAM Weekend to launch KOWSEL. Also supported by the Community Renewal Funds they have established Lostwithiels own regular spoken word programme. More details can be found here – – – > KOWSEL
We will also be getting together to plan our first exhibition and performance event of the year, dates to follow!
